Preparing Your Items

Clothing: We only accept quality used clothing, baby equipment, toys and maternity items.  Please make sure there are no tears, holes or stains.  When checking for stains it is best to use fluorescent lighting.  Freshly laundered and ironed items always sell better.  Remember appearance is everything!

Place clothing on a wire hanger with the hanger hook facing left so that it looks like a question mark (?).  No children's hangers please. Pants should be safety pinned to the top part of the hanger. Two piece outfits should have the bottom half attached to the back of the item pinned on at the shoulders. (Both pieces can be viewed without unpinning the garment.) OR hang second item on another hanger and attach together at top with elastic band.  Never hide the second half under the first. Matching accessories should be pinned to the front of the garment.

Do not put items together to create an outfit unless they where originally purchased as a two or more piece outfit.

Pants/shorts/skirts should be hung on the upper part of the hanger with the pins close to the hook so they won't slide to the bottom part (otherwise they bunch up and people won't buy them). Do not fold pants over hanger.

Please ensure that all buttons are buttoned, all snaps are snapped and all zippers are zipped.

Toys: Toys & games etc. MUST HAVE ALL PIECES, be clean and not out of date. Attach small pieces by putting them in a Ziploc bag and taping bag shut.  Then securely tape bag to larger item. All items that require batteries should have them.  No one wants to buy a toy if they can not test it first.

Small Items: Group small items (such as socks, sippy cups etc.) in a large Ziploc bag. Then use clear packing tape to seal the bag to prevent items from being lost.

Rule of Thumb: When in doubt... leave it out. If you don’t feel good about an item or feel it is something that you would not purchase then do not put it in the sale. The quality of our sale is important to us.

Quality Control: We will be screening items very closely at drop off as to maintain the quality of the sale.  Use good judgment when deciding what to bring to the sale.  Please do not be offended if we ask you to take back some of your items. It is often easy to miss a spot or tear when you are getting your items ready at home. Pricing

We recommend pricing your items at no more than 1/3 of its original cost.  Remember people are looking for good deals!

Tagging your Items

Tags will need to be printed on 60lb. or heavier card stock using the tagging template.  Anything that is light weight rips easily and runs the risk of getting lost during the sale.  If you do not have access to a printer you also have the option of having us print them for you for a small fee. How to Fill Out Tags

Consignor Login - Login to your consignor account by using the Consignor Login link from the navigation bar on the left. Select the last link on your consignor home page labelled Work with Consigned Inventory.

Size & Gender - Clothing size - Gender of Item
(Please use a numerical size and NOT S, M, L, XL)
Designated Space has been allotted for these sizes in boys and girls:
0-3 Months
3-6 Months
6-9 Months
12-18 Months
18-24 Months
2T, 3T,  4 & 4T, 5 & 5T, 6, 6x, 7, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16 (18 & 20 boys)
Juniors for girls 0, 1/2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14 (women's sizes will NOT be accepted)
Maternity Items may be sized (S, M, L, XL)

Item Description - Enter a short description of your item. This is a good way to point out if your item is a brand name. If you have the time, this is also a good place to add any positive selling points, such as "Washes Well!" or "Only Worn Once."  Be careful to avoid negatives such as "Never Worn."  Use "NEW" or "Like New!" instead.  On large ticket items such as equipment, you may want to put the retail price off to the side so buyers will know what a good deal they are getting. 

RED DOT - NO DISCOUNT - If you would like your item to be discounted during the half-price day select the box "Check to discount". If you do not want your item to be discounted uncheck the box. A red dot on the bottom left hand corner of your tag means NO DISCOUNT. Your item will only be sold at Full Price during the 50% OFF day.

D - DONATE - if you would like the item automatically donated if it does NOT sell, please  select the box "Check to Donate". A D will be listed in the bottom left corner of the tag indicating you would like the item donated.

Price - Price must be listed in $0.50 increments only.  Minimum price is $1.00.  If an item is less than $1.00 group it with something else.

Attaching Tags

Attach the tag to the upper right-front corner (when you are facing the item) of the garment with a 1” or larger safety pin. Items that are a set only require 1 tag.  DO NOT use stick pins, staples or clothes pins.

Tape tag with clear packing tape to toys, books, videos, cribs, baby equipment and other items that can not be safety pinned. Make sure the tag is easily seen and securely attached.

Place shoes in Ziploc bag with tag fastened to the outside using clear packing tape or tie shoe laces together and pin card to laces.

When using tape to attach a tag please use only one piece of packing tape across the middle of the card. Tags will be removed at check-out.

Why Wire Hangers

• The wire hangers take up less space and clothes are more shoppable.
• It is hard to pin to plastic hangers.
• The plastic retail hangers break.
• Wire hangers display clothes nicely even baby clothing
• Wire hangers are easier to come by and are free. Just ask your local dry cleaner.
