How It Works

1.  REGISTER online to receive your CONSIGNOR NUMBER

Consigning space is limited and on a first- come, first-served basis. Click here to register now!

2.  GATHER and PREPARE your items for the sale. 

Wash, iron, and replace missing buttons on clothing.  Collect all loose pieces for toys and do what is necessary to ensure your items are in excellent condition.  We ask that zippers be zipped and buttons be buttoned. 

3.  TAG items

Hang all clothing on wire hangers with the

New - We have introduced a barcoding system so tagging is now down online instead of using the spreadsheet.

Once you have created your consignor account and registered for our upcoming sale you can start tagging your items. Login to your consignor account and navigate to the tagging section. Here you will be able to start entering your items.

Any item without a proper barcoded tag WILL NOT be sold.   

4.  DROP OFF items

Please have all items sorted by gender and size. Please allow 30 minutes for drop off as we will be screening items to ensure quality.  Consignor agreement will need to be signed at this time. Generally drop-off is scheduled the day before the sale. 

5. SHOP at the Pre-Sale

As an added benefit for being a consignor with Hot Tots you are automatically eligible to attend our pre-sale to get the best selection of clothing, toys, equipment and more! A shopping pass will be e-mailed to you before the beginning of the sale. Please note, pass is good for one person only. No guests please.

6. Go Online and See your Sales!

This part is so much fun! At the close of day (Saturday and Sunday of the sale) you can go online and view a list of all the items you have sold.

7.  PICK UP

This is very important since we CAN NOT store your items.  If you indicated that you would like your unsold items returned, you MUST come and pick them up at the indicated time.  HOT TOTS will donate all items that are not picked up to a designated charity.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS to this as we need to be out of the facility and can not store your items. 

8.  PAYMENT

You will receive your check for 65-85% of the selling price for items sold, minus a $10 participation fee, within 2 weeks. To learn how you could earn upto 85% of the price of your items sold click here
